The Labor Department said in a press release that it fined Win.IT America Inc. for $30,276 in civil money penalties after violating child labor provisions in the Fair Labor Standards Act. Investigators found that the company employed two children, an 11-year-old and a 13-year-old, for months at its distribution center.

I've got this shifty look on my face because I was totally driving a forklift when I was 13.

Nobody was forcing me to do it. I was just hanging around at my bother in law's workplace and wanted to mess with the forklift. You know how it is. So he taught me how to operate it. Then every time I went there I would help out by doing whatever loading and unloading needed to be done and wasn't too tricky. Okay, and also pointlessly driving the forklift around and doing burnouts and stuff in the parking lot on the company's dime.

I did it for free, too. What a little chump.
