    To be fair Nagorno-Karabakh is literally surrounded by Azerbaijan. It makes it easier when they start off surrounding the opponent.

    Putin has declared that he is officially using his mulligan. Bring everything back to February 2022 and start over.

      Armenia recently did some military exercises with the US, but that was essentially a response to the fact that they realized Russia couldn't offer them security guarantees anymore. Azerbaijan, either because they already planned to or because they wanted to resolve the issue before the US started offering material assistance to Armenia, took over the disputed area in a short war against the Armenian-backed separatists there.
