Fake Christian to boot. I’m an atheist but grew up Catholic. Almost nothing these people push for government to do follows new testament teachings from Christ.

These people are anti-Christs. They are quite literally the opposite of everything he believed.

“Sell everything you own and give it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven”

These “Christians” today do the exact opposite. Disgusting people, cloaking themselves in Jesus while living antithetically to his teachings. And the stupid masses eat it up. Truly makes my stomach hurt. Fuck all of these people

The first thing I thought when I read the headline was, “No, they’re not trying to push Christianity. They’re not Christians!”

Wow, these extremists are getting really good at talking out of both sides of their mouths.

Catholics and evangelicals appear to be increasingly “putting aside theological differences in order to bond together so that they can push back against the creeping, secular humanism that is happening in America.”

And yet, in one of the recent Rolling Stone pieces about Alito, he was caught on tape essentially saying seculars and religious nuts can’t live in peace, one side has to win out.

Justice Samuel Alito spoke candidly about the ideological battle between the left and the right — discussing the difficulty of living “peacefully” with ideological opponents in the face of “fundamental” differences that “can’t be compromised.” He endorsed what his interlocutor described as a necessary fight to “return our country to a place of godliness.”

So it’s okay for different sects of Christians who disagree on a lot to band together to fight against secularism, but god forbid the same grace is extended to seculars to live in peace with Christian nuts (puns intended).

As a Jewish atheist, I’m flabbergasted. I’m clearly not welcome here according to any of these assholes.

Proving once again that the end goal of conservatives is genocide. They simply can’t fathom coexisting with people who don’t think and look exactly like them, and given enough power they will start the mass-scale murder of “the enemy”.

This is also why they’re convinced genocide is what “liberals” want to do to them; they can’t understand peaceful coexistence without wanting to murder the Other so they assume everybody else is like this as well

It was only a matter of enough time passing from the horrors of WW II and the Holocaust. We’ll likely have to live through unspeakable atrocities again before things can get any better, and with current technology being what it is I’m not sure we’ll make it to “the other side” of those atrocities.

Well I think the only way to defeat fascism in America is with redacted, we will need to rise up redacted… well what needs to be done to defeat these conservatives can’t be said outloud.

Us Jewish atheists are only useful if we die in Israel, either in furtherance of a genocide or better their heavy metal themed apocalypse.
