Ahh remindes me of a quote.

Mr. Prosser: Do you know how much damage this bulldozer would sustain if I just let it roll over you?

    Arthur Dent: How much?

    Mr. Prosser: None at all.

Coincidentally ‘none at all’ is precisely the amount of money Jones deserves to be left with.

There may be procedural and legal issues before we just have bulldozers run over people. For one, they’re not a threat to actual rich people.

Ahhh! But did you check the cellar? [Authorization was] on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard.’

That takes too much work. You set it up right and stabilize it well, a trusty wood chipper’ll get that premium grade-A rich fucker all over your thirsty soil in that nice, even spray that plants crave!

I dunno what would be funnier, if a bunch of people did this and got themselves arrested, along with Jones, for obstruction, or if just no one showed up at all.

I think it’d be hilarious if Trump promised to cover people’s legal fees and get a big mob arrested

      Cuz you know.

Trump doesn’t even pay his own legal bills…

If anyone deserves an aneurysm it’s this guy. I hate that he’s young enough to keep spouting his bullshit for another 30+ years.

I dunno mate, he seems to be high on coke all the time so that aneurysm may be closer than you think. Also, if he ends up broke under a bridge (I can hope!) then his reach is greatly diminished.

Do you think he’s actually drugged out?

There are definitely times when it seems like he’s had a hit of something during commercial breaks. He’s often drunk on air (and drinks during the show) so it’s certainly possible.

Edit: I just listened, he’s drunk on air during this episode. And the headline is a quote from Steve Bannon, bit misleading.

I saw a video of alex jones from the early 90s. He was doing some local nothing story about how a road had too steep of a slope, and needed a guardrail to stop busses from slipping.

He was calm. He was much much thinner, and he wasn’t spewing bullshit. One line I found ironic is, he was illistrating a point how a bus could have difficulty getting up in the winter, and if an accident happened, that bus would slide right off the edge. And he says something to the effect of “Just look at this angle, and imagine what it’s like in winter. Covered in ice, maybe even black ice. One mistake in those conditions would make a bus full of children slide off the edge, and suddenly dozens of children and the bus driver could be seriously hurt, or worse. Nobody wants to see that.”

Then he talked about how he campaigned for a barrier wall, but was told he’d be lucky to get a guard rail.

Fast forward to today, and he’s talking about gay frogs, and conspiracies and other various bullshit. It’s like two different people.

Now what kind of creative solution might a judge ordering that liquidation use to deal with that…

I wonder if it’d be workable to fine anyone involved some periodic amount, individually of course. How long do you suppose they would keep supporting him. One thing to have convinced a bunch of low info persons to shout your praises, asking them to bankroll your protest is another.

Bankruptcy law is complicated, and certain types of criminal debt do not go away even if you file for bankruptcy.

So it’s quite possible that if his supporters tried to fund him, either now or later, that some or all of the money could go to his victims.

Oh indeed it is, was my daily work filing papers in cases for about 6 years. The usual deal being to list all assets and all liabilities and it’s assumed that everything is subject to discharge, but a stack of exceptions allow creditors to object and prevent their claims from being included. One exception I recall but rarely saw was judgements arising out of fraud or malicious actions.

Sanctions always are a tool just for annoying the judge, who can really do whatever they want withing the bounds of law. Enforcing them on random 3rd parties might be difficult, but if they’re impeding the court’s work well, judges don’t take contempt actions very well typically.

    • Given Jones’s audience, there’s a good chance some of them would be the police. Austin suburbs are packed to the gills with Joe Rogan / Alex Jones fellow travelers.

Alex Jones Production - 1011 Meredith Dr, Austin, Texas

Gotta say, I’m underwhelmed. This is way out in the exurbs of Austin, practically down in Kyle TX. For a guy who was halfway to being a billionaire a year or two ago, its kinda depressing to see that this is where the magic is supposed to happen.

Rush Limbaugh’s studio was a thousand times swanker.
