      I would hope that the bar is higher than a statistically representative random sample of the entire population

      That’s from 2018, a lot has happened since then. One would expect most families are trying to keep their children and babies safe, so if Israel were making any effort to avoid the children it shouldn’t be hard to do so. Targeting a food distribution center shows they’re not. Also shows cowardice, rather than attack someplace where they shoot back.

      What a strange factoid to choose to highlight.

      I wonder if this “war” hasn’t proportionately killed more children than any in history.

      ok, just as long as it’s demographically proportional there’s no problem here! After all, this means that the “Hamas terrorist” population is also 56% children

      Otherwise it would be pretty obvious proof that Isreal doesn’t care about civillian casualties!

      (edit: The reason, then, that children only comprise 44% of deaths is because of their higher armor class from their small size. Much harder to hit).
