Every officer involved in this is a fuckwit. If your fellow officer begins assaulting a woman who is on the ground you should be arresting him too.
Last year I've been punched by a policeman who then accused me of having pushed him against something unknown and having caused him a damage to the face worth 4 days. The prosecutor believed him and not me, archived my demand against him and went on with the trial of him against me. I'm psychologically disabled, I suffer from anxiety and depression and obsessive disorder and on September 27th 2024 I will be condemned for something I didn't do. This is ruining my life and there's nothing I can do about it cos I'm unable to withstand a trial, even considering they'll sway in my favor.
I'm so sorry this is happening to you. Cops are unaccountable fucking thugs, and judges are too, because they believe cops unquestioningly over regular citizens. It's fucked up that an entire part of society that is supposed to dole out "justice" routinely acts like all citizens are an invading force meant to destroy the lives of cops and judges. It's utter fucking insanity, and these people need to be taken down a peg and brought back to fucking sanity and being part of society instead of acting like they're above it all.
Ain't gonna happen, I'm afraid.
Do you not have a pro bono lawyer? The ACLU should have a field day with that cop.
I have a lawyer. The prosecutor is on his side. Nothing I can do.

Now why would this lady use her body as a weapon and hurt this poor officer's fist?
Welp, better give that officer a few months of paid vacation and then shuffle them around and hiding their name in news reports until this all blows over.
Don't forget he'll sue for the emotional pain he suffered from our disgust, netting him a cool $38,055.
Shame on the NY Times for doxing the victims.
That's a great point I should have thought of, thank you for mentioning this
Damn, I live in CLT and that video was tough to watch. Looks like an obvious excessive use of force. And the PD already defended the officer's use of force… I have a feeling this will lead to protests.
I wish this would lead to protests but most of america is oblivious this shit is even happening every day.
Charlotte had protests a few years back for a similar issue, so it's very possible. I'm all for protests, but sometimes people travel just to cause mischief and for petty crime.
It's very clear that workers need to unionize for bargaining power. I'm seeing more support for unions day after day so I'd say people are becoming more informed
There was a dangerous outbreak of pot smoking in public. Extreme measures were entirely justified. /s
Good thing he was only 4'3" or he woulda done some damage with those muffins
Of course, the office is white, and the woman is black. I live close to CLT, and sadly, this is still all too common to see.
