I don’t really see that happening tho. She barely criticizes Trump as it is. Once she loses, she’ll go back to publicly fellating Trump and saying what a great man he is. I’d love to see her go full Liz Cheney, but she’s far too self-serving for that.

After living through the last few elections, I’m not going to bet on whether Biden vs Haley or Biden vs Trump will lead to a better result. But I really don’t see how helping Haley would actually accomplish anything. Even if the Democrats made a big (wasted) effort to push & campaign for Haley, it’s not going to be nearly enough to make her the nominee.
Absent the Supreme Court declaring Trump ineligible (don’t hold your breath) It’s going to be Biden vs Trump. Prepare for that. Messing with the Republican’s sham primary is a waste of effort and a distraction from more constructive things Democrats could be doing like getting their voters registered and ready to go to the polls in November.

I agree with this in principle, but the way they were allowed to compete as the “Russian Olympic Committee” was bullshit. You can’t have a team called “totally not Russia (wink)” and expect that to be a meaningful punishment for the nations leaders

Yes, but it's not an automatic invocation of WW3. Article 5 just requires the members to discuss the issue and decide what to do about it, which is what they're doing now. If there's consensus Russia did it, they'll do something proportional in response.
The Republicans want to end democracy and convert the US to an oppressive fascist oligarchy like Russia, but make no mistake. They are not underwater and they are a legitimate political party with all of the power, funding and infrastructure that comes with it.
They have near absolute control of the judiciary and strangleholds on most of the federal and state legislatures.
The Democrats need to equip themselves to compete with that but I fear they've squandered whatever technology edge they had. One vendor having the ability to screw their entire operation is proof of that.

But looking at a very large spherical region like the visible universe from our perspective here on Earth, everything is moving away from us. If objects were being pulled towards one particular edge of our imaginary sphere, it would look very different. We'd see a clear drift in that direction, but it all looks pretty even across every direction we look.

That seems a tall order given his long history of biting the Dem's hands every time they reach out. This is a problem of his party's own making and stems from not honoring their earlier agreements around the debt ceiling.
Besides, they can't agree to something he hasn't (and won't) ask for.
They claim to be, but it's been a lot more talk than action over the past few decades. That's why Trump picked up so much blue collar support. He didn't do anything for them either, but he spoke to their anger.
What he believes in his heart has nothing to do with the crimes he's been charged with. He interfered with official processes and concocted a scheme to submit a state of false electors. Believing he was doing what was right has nothing to do with the legality of the charges.
For one, he destroyed the legitimacy of the federal judiciary & supreme court. Which is terrible, but great. Like Voldemort.
None of the republican candidates are minimally acceptable. All of them are authoritarian and wish to end democracy. I think it’s more dangerous if one of the less crazy-sounding ones gets the nomination. Biden is unpopular and there’s a very real chance anybody who’s not Trump will win simply by virtue of being somebody “new.”
The ideal scenario is that Trump gets the nomination but can barely campaign in the general because of all of his court obligations. It gets even better if he’s knocked off a few state ballots and/or the republican party tries to take the nomination away from him after the fact and they tear each other apart with infighting.
I’m pretty sure the Ukrainians will cease firing once the Russians leave their country and stop trying to murder them.
