Holy hell Reddit is invasive. Got banned a few years ago. Went to make a new account and within a day it was banned. New email, new computer… how the hell do they have way too much information on you? It's actually kinda scary how insidious those fuckers are.

100% this. OP went right back in with the same pudgey 4chan frequenter bullshit that got them banned last time, got banned, and is now over here crying about it. What a loser.

Banned IP for me. I made a lot of throw-away accounts to answer simple questions and most where shadowbanned (maybe because I was using a VPN).

    The answer is Google.

Reddit has the Google login integration and advertiser id.

Your Gmail account and Google advertising id has de-anonymized you

If your Reddit post history is anything like it is on Lemmy, I’m honestly not surprised. Being a dick to people will get you banned on Reddit fast, especially if it’s a new account.

🤣🤣 the user pointed something out to you, and your first response was to tell the user to kill themselves?

If you end up getting banned here too, exploding-heads .com might be a more welcoming instance for you
