Michelle Lujan Grisham said on the day Roe was reversed, “I will continue to fight for the right to a safe, legal abortion in New Mexico and stand as a brick wall against those who seek to punish women and their doctors just because they seek the care they need and deserve.”

In the year since Dobbs, New Mexico has been a brick wall and a safe haven — for those who provide abortions and those who desire or need them.

    Not really people from too many states away cannot magically get there and how would most people know this some are not even aware of the problem bring up topics such as this at work with a lot of “what? never heard about it.” local newspapers dying really killed the grassroots

    Obama could have, should have, codified it into law, but didn’t. This gives the fake liberals something to run on instead of real things like a livable wage or healthcare for all. God I hate this fucking country.

      At no point were there 60 votes in the Senate for codifying roe v wade into federal law, and the Supreme Court could have just tossed out that hypothetical law anyways.

        He had a supermajority for about a month and a half. But it was also dependent on several anti abortion conservative Democrats. There was never a time when he had 60 votes.

        The way to prevent this was electing Clinton in 2016
