I found the last one a lot more authentic-sounding and a decent compliment, honestly. But I don’t know, are people really expecting to say/hear flowery speeches along the lines of a bad pick up line?

I think film definitely sells kids on the idea of “true love” as some big romantic destiny that totally exists. Maybe it’s to sell more valentine’s day tat, or maybe it’s to get them use to life being a big fucking disappointment.

      • I would say the easier explanation might be the right one: they got the formula down, it’s straight forward, and everyone else in advertisement basically does the same, so why bother.
