With a deadline a month away, supporters of a proposed constitutional amendment aimed at ensuring abortion rights continue getting closer to meeting a petition signature requirement.
The USPS is currently the only government agency that pays for itself outright, and with prices that are still on the absolute floor of what is necessary.

Because Republicans have indoctrinated their base for years with the topic of how the postal service is a business and must turn a profit to be useful or it should be gotten rid of in favor of a Cheaper, More Efficient™ private solution (That will do nothing but make it more costly and less efficient cause the only problem privatization has ever solved is how to funnel government money into donors pockets with the appearance of legitimacy)
