      It's a social issue, so there's not that much money to be made/lost. The oligarchs have given their tacit okay on this issue.

        Since the sexual revolution in the 1970s, the oligarchs have realized that if they don't force women to have and raise children they can exploit them for labor even worse than men by paying them seventy cents on the dollar. Also, this means both parents must work, meaning they have to buy child care from them as well as food and housing.

          Ehh to them it's a wash. If the women don't work most of them end up having kids that do and it solves itself on the business end.

          Hot take tho that the sexual revolution actually enslaved women to the oligarchs instead of freeing them from just being housewives… 🙄
