Republican officials are undermining citizen-led ballot initiatives that seek to protect the procedure. Ohio is the latest state to get protections on the November ballot.
50 years of broken promises to codify Roe led us to this point. I hope all those millions in fundraising was worth it for them.
The Republicans on the Supreme Court would have struck it down anyway like they have with most of the VRA, EPA, Clean Air/Water acts, etc. Codifying doesn't mean shit to these clowns on the Court.
SCOTUS only ruled because Dems never made it law. Biden finally got his life long wish of making abortion a states rights issue.
That's what SCOTUS said. Yes both parties fundraised of how precarious it was. But I don't think for a minute SCOTUS wouldn't have struck down a law.
See what they did to the Civil Rights Act
What they would do is pure speculation. What did happen is democrats fucked around and found out.
Democrats have had plenty of time to make it the law of the land instead they just play lip service but they don't give a damn about the average American.

All the red state Democrats who have republiQan friends - you need to get real or get wise. They either do or do not understand what it is they're supporting.
They have literally no idea. If It's not on faux nooos or in church, it literally does not exist for them. I've got a neighbor who is a good guy, just misguided, and showing him some issuses with the news he was consuming helped him a lot.
