    I’m not surprised. Antioch/Pittsburg is right at the line where the Bay Area starts turning into the Trump country of the Central Valley, and despite its reputation of being a bastion of liberal thought, Northern California has a really ugly undercurrent of “good ole boy” racism the further you go east and north.
