You know what I’m always surprised is missing everytime I see this list? Repealing the 14th amendment. They are so wrong on all of it but somehow they don’t go for that one.

If you don’t know about it, I recommend you take a gander at The rat utopia from the 60s.
Between my wife and I we make a little over 200k USD a year.
I do not own the fruit of my labor. If I am unemployed for an extended period of time I will lose my home. Sure I am not struggling to pay my bills (for now, but I could be hot with a layoff at any time), and sure the numbers that flow through my bank account are unmanageable for a lot of people. But at the end of the day I have a lot more on common with someone making federal minimum wage then I have with someone who owns the means of production.
Having taken a grand total of 30 seconds to glance at your post history - it’s due to the politely formal language you use. I’m going to guess one of the two things - English is not your primary language, and or your extremely well read in English literature.
So my wife and I are one of them. I'll call it as it is, we got lucky, and both work in tech.
Now that said, I "rent" (rent in quotes because the amount is almost exactly what the increase in food costs was) out a room to a good friend because she was struggling, and just last week got another friend couch surfing for who knows how long until she can get her feet under her.
I'm of the mind that it can involve a screen - but needs to be a different part of your brain. For example 3d printing, writing, reading a (digital) book. However if you are nearing burnout, you need to pick up something radically increase your non work time, and spend your free time doing something that does not require a screen.
I'm sorry, but I'd be more terrified of Microsoft. A company worth more than nations, (current market cap puts it about the 10th richest country in the world), and who routinely tells other companies to pony up - and they do (look up a software audit if you want to see a corporate shakedown).
But that’s just it. To the megalomaniacal, psychotic, fascist person id assume the dream of having you own personal household slaves, or factory slaves that you can ln explort and abuse you heartless content would be the creme de la creme of goals.
