What sort of cabling, do you suppose?
Strong Cable Support Infrastructure?

Wild. It was only just yesterday that I’d learned of the phrase “caused me to stumble” within a religious context, courtesy of the “in my super-fundamentalist church back in the nineties” guy on IG.
Orthogonal, but I have fond memories of the firewalls mailing list (greatcircle.com iirc) as well as the Usenet Oracle
Just wanted to throw something else into the discussion.
I’ll preface this that a) I’m no economist, and b) I’m Canadian.
Let’s harken back to circa 1996 when the Quebec separatists were once again threatening to leave. Also, they were going to keep the Canadian dollar as their currency.
I was having a chat with a coworker, who did have a minor in finance. He pointed out that if Quebec separated and kept the Cdn dollar, their fiscal policy would be dictated by Canada.
So reframing this for Texas: if they seceded, would they keep the USD? If not, how quickly would they be able to design their own currency and mint it? What exchange rate would they use for their citizens and how quickly could they get the new currency into the hands of everyone, including out in the boonies?
I’m completely glossing over any considerations around what might happen if they kept the USD.
As a somewhat recent arrival to NZ, I found it interesting — starting with our rental car — that the speed limit is displayed on your dashboard. It changes colour as soon as you go 1 km over the limit.
All very cool. The most notable issue with this is there are sections of roads where this doesn’t work at all.
That said, there is a LOT of traffic calming here.
There’s still the occasional assclown that goes way over the limit. Unsurprisingly, that usually happens on long, straight roads without traffic calming.
Completely random, and nothing to do with anything:
Mice, which stands for “money”, “ideology”, “coercion/compromise” and “ego”.
FWIW I enjoyed your post. And yeah, quite the knack for shite friends/relationships :D
Didn’t know we had a king. I thought we were an autonomous collective.
I did that for one neighbour in one apartment complex where we lived. Her laptop sucked ass beforehand.
Yeah, that works because of the 'z' I would say.
I'm having trouble finding another word that rhymes but still uses an 's' and not a 'z'.
I guess there's 'choose,' but visually it looks closer to 'loose'. Which would just confuse the people we're trying to give clarity to.
And lose rhymes with no-
Er.
Let me get back to you on that.
It really comes down to apps.
The only flag you mentioned that caught my attention was Word and Word templates. I've not tried Word templates.
I figure your options are either Libre Office or something cloud based, eg, Google Docs.
One thing you could try is to set up a VM or boot a live CD (USB) and try on the things that most concern you.

As a Canadian, thanks for giving me flashbacks to years of French studies :P
With those hands?
I’ll see myself out
