    • Joey overlays AI voice and emojis on Fred’s video on Tiktok
    • Dave posts it on Xitter with his own commentary
    • Rick takes a video of a video with the entire tweet superimposed Ends up on reddit
    • DorkyDodo removed and moans about the petty annoyances but not the topic itself
    • Everyone upvotes DorkyDodo
    • Terminally online nerds talk about it Lemmy

  • That is what happens when you slash taxation on the richest and allow inequality to explode. Your economies die, and your children don’t eat, and they wear thick jumpers, as I did, in the winter, and they shiver, with their families, in cold homes.

And that is why the propaganda starts early and you’re a traitor to question the logic.

There’s also war abroad they trumpet up every so often to deflect from any responsibility. It’s always “get-out-free-of-consequences” card and people feel smug for arbitrary reasons or downright lies to have their tax sent to kill innocent people in thousands while the military complex rakes in billions. So they have been doing it time and again with great success.

    “Thank you for your service”

  • my $100 Walmart tablet lasts all week with light usage, I doubt this could compare

probably not in a first release, but Android is convulted piece of shit compared to linux desktop environments. Not to mention Google’s and/or OEMs built-in system apps running 24/7 guzzling all your data in the background.

In time, I guess it would beat out in performance and efficiency but lose in the availability of applications, same as desktop linux.

  • Right on time for the US government to lead their populace on an boogeyman hunt season by blaming anything inconvenient on an enemy state. without any evidence whatsoever… I might add.

    • unrest? Russian misinformation
    • online? Chinese bots
    • stop funding genocide? hamas opeatives
    • any criticism? people that want Trump elected

And the funny thing is everyone there eats it up like good little tools they are. But argue, US companies are not under government fingers like China and Russia. No sir, and when it’s found that they’re doing the government’s dirty work time and again behind closed doors.

“They’re conveniently just following the law, what do you expect them to do?”

  • US has a history of being fine with violent white protestors and completely unhinged in response to minority protestors

And that’s apart from being fine with the war crimes abroad. But it never affected anyone within the country, so that’s all fine and dandy thing of the past.

Everyone there conveniently forgets that “history” and only reiterates about the “violence” when it starts to affect themselves.

It just might be that your country loves, or likely worships violence.

I don’t get why this is getting pushback. It’s weird to refuse to understand that other people have different tastes in media consumption.

Because you’re lowering our collective IQ listening to cringe bullshit as entertainment.

  • People don’t realize how much of reddit content is made by bot farms and advertising agencies, propaganda outlets with bots to spare. Which is what’s keeping the normies entertained, not the nerds, not the niche community of a few thousand people.

People like the one you’re replying to always are so sure their echo chamber is right when reality is like complete opposite. Most people on reddit are lurkers and not terminally online people. They just want to scroll and fucking waste time. Community, subs and their mods or rules be damned.

They don’t care if the cat videos are on a banana sub. they’ll happily upvote and scroll away while the terminally online will start complaining why the post is not fit, a repost, or against the rules for 100s of time. And as always, once they leave, they think it is dead.

Because these posts are nothing but the model making up something believable to the user. This “prompt engineering” is like asking a parrot who’s learned quite a lot of words (but not their meaning), and then the self-proclaimed “pet whisperer” asks some random questions and the parrot, by coincidence makes up something cohesive. And he’s like “I made the parrot spill the beans.”
