Ah. You pray at the altar of Google with the mantra: “It only works in Chrome or Edge. Why not upgrade your browser?”
What could possibly go wrong with giving all the power to one browser engine? If only there was a precedent to learn from…
Global peace and security.
Thank you. I feel like I’ve found a new way to respect developers that I hadn’t considered before.
there are limits
I am glad you have a moral centre.
But that is the capitalist way. A Redditor once wrote: “*Corporations have no morals, no ethics, no code of conduct, no feelings, no empathy, and zero accountability. They have one goal and one goal only: to increase profits at all costs.”
Case in point: the climate crisis. Corporations are literally destroying their own home for a symbol of success that, like their products, is man-made: money. It is the ultimate pursuit of vanity.
Crazy, if you think about it for a moment.
Recent iterations of Windows have been easy to install, esp. when using an entire drive. I (almost) never had issues.

Where is that study? Does anyone have a link?
To save you all a click and some time: the source says that the report is bogus.
Hold on.
There’s reasons to kill someone‽
SVN is still awesome and in some ways superior to 2024 solutions. It also excels at some things more than others, just as GIT.
On the “but it’s old” thought: Dropbox is a 2007 solution which still lives in 2024, thus living many years. Like Subversion. Oh, and GIT was created in 2005. So…
Don’t have the time to detail that now myself, but here’s two articles for those who are looking for more than a personal opinion on the topic:
This applies to so many things. Someone’s lifestyle might come under attack, someone’s religion might be persecuted, someone has sensitive information to share, and so on and so forth.
