He's invited the leaders of the opposition to form an emergency government of national unity. Basically the exact opposite of what you just said.

My parents were from the UK and although I never lived there I was surrounded by the culture growing up. My Mom used to make fish and chips with mushy peas, steak and kidney pie (sometimes she had problems finding beef kidney … people asked her if she had a cat). We went back to England a few times as a child, always at Christmas, and I remember the wonderful atmosphere. They played Christmas carols everywhere, even on the bus. The metro (Tube to Londoners) tunnels were filled with buskers … it was so nice to walk round a corner and find someone playing Jingle Bells or Silent Night. And the food … Christmas pudding with brandy butter, pork pies, mince pies (actually dried fruit pies).
Now my folks are gone. I miss them all the time but I miss them most at Christmas… it's just not the same here and without them.
I've had some great ones … those where the end touches the water before it's finished leaving your asshole.
But one time I entered a public toilet in Mexico City and saw the biggest turd I've seen in my life. Obviously it was not capable of being flushed … it seemed to fill the entire bowl. I was just in awe at how that could have possibly fitted inside a person.
Agree fully with your first statement.
Do you have any links to support your second statement?
And God help you of you ever try to browse the site using an older, low resolution monitor. It borders on being unusable.
Cue the outrage. Meanwhile no-one questions why people feel compelled to sell their own organs in order to survive. This is just a logical and expected outcome of a system where some give their own blood so that others can live better.
The majority of sexual abuse is by people known to the victim and much of it goes unreported.
Almost all countries in Europe have term limits of 12-15 weeks. So I don't understand why here that's considered a ban.
The problem is that this solves nothing. Since COVID the US has been writing checks it cannot cash and the party will come to an end sooner or later. The longer we kick the can down the road the more painful it will be. Republicans won't increase taxes (even Biden didn't roll back Trump's tax cuts). And Democrats won't cut entitlement spending. So we are essentially screwed.
GPS jamming is trivial. This is spoof which is a lot more complex and requires sophisticated kit. I imagine there is Russian involvement here.
Many other countries have liberal immigration policies and haven't experienced these problems. Something seems to have gone uniquely wrong in Sweden. Gang membership in Sweden is comprised overwhelmingly of people from a handful of countries: Syria, Serbia, Bosnia, Albania and Iraq. Most immigrants to Sweden come from India for example, and don't seem to cause problems. Nor do those from Poland or the UK.
It looks like a massive failure to vet individuals from a few nations … possibly out of a misplaced sensitivity to appearing racist.
SQL. The simplest syntax of all languages but can be amazingly powerful if you know what you you're doing. (And frighteningly dangerous if you don't).
Because that's worked so well for them in the past. /s
Not only Mandela. All the top cadre of the ANC and SA Communist party in those days were great. Govan Mbeki (Thabos' father). Walter Sisulu. Chris Hani (murdered by the apartheid regime). Steve Biko (hopefully everyone knows who Steve Biko was). Joe Slovo (his wife, Ruth First, was also murdered by the regime). These were all good, honest and decent people, not to mention brave and courageous. It's a tragedy and a disgrace to see how the next generation of leaders has trashed the legacy of these amazing people.
It will come, hang in there and give it time. When my wife of 11 years left with our two children I thought it was the end of the world. Turned out there was another life waiting that was even better (apart from not getting to seeing my kids every day). Being with someone you love who actually loves you back, who lifts you up instead of bringing you down… that feeling is amazing.
I remember a case where a mother killed her two young kids because she wanted them to go to heaven. Her reasoning was that if they grew up and became sinners they would end up in hell. By murdering them before they knew what sin was she actually saved them. Thing is, if you believe in that shit then what she did really makes perfect sense.
I can't answer your question but it's particularly annoying for me because I travel a lot for work. Sending me an SMS message when I'm in the middle of Africa isn't going to work. (In fact I found a way to make it work by enabling wifi calling with my US cell provider… but I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to verify my identity)
Not of it's just a quick rinse in cold water. Many people in Latin America take a shower multiple times a day but it's not what people in the US would call a shower. It's quick and often doesn't involve soap. I shower at least twice a day but only one of those is a real "shower" shower with soap.
There is always an error. The important thing (apart from eliminating bias) is to know the magnitude. Radio chronological analysis is well understood and laboratories can reliably report the magnitude of the error (or more specifically the uncertainty) accompanying any determination of age. But news articles rarely publish it.
In this case the age is quoted as "at least 476,000 years" so we can infer a precision estimate of plus or minus 1,000 years.
