I’m mostly just wondering how they’re distinguishing between astroturfing and legit posts.

Devil’s advocate here. Does not pretty much any post on the subject of politics that is not simply reporting constitute an attempt to manipulate public opinion? Are they specifically referencing nation states trying to influence public opinion?
Definitely did not.
And those recipe changes were probably aimed at lowering costs, not increasing quality.
There are a lot of entry level jobs that basically assume new employees know nothing, anyway. Seems like this will just further devalue degrees and emphasize work experience for hiring.
That’s true for soda and beer lines, too…
This doesn’t look like a woman without makeup, it looks like a woman with makeup with a filter over her face.
Really feels like one should be “tea is made from tea”
This country is so completely fucked.
When I was a youth they called that “coco puffs”
It’s state by state, I believe.
I really don’t think there are enough trans people competing at the highest levels to sustain that though.
“Drugs” are a pretty broad category of thing, it’s unlikely that you’re ever going to get an honest answer out of anyone, and it’s even more unlikely that anyone using illegal drugs who wants a gun is going to not buy a gun because of this. It’s just more war on drugs bullshit.
I’ll also add that if people were actually worried about the competency of people buying guns to own guns, then it would make far more sense to put the burden of proof on the person buying to prove their competency. But that’s not what this law is really about.
It’s kind of a shitty law in the first place, but he was assuredly guilty of it. It’s still unusual that they went after him for it when it wasn’t connected to any other crime (which is usually when federal prosecutors use this law) and really unusual that the judge threw out the plea bargain.
If you want to do the software equivalent of digging a ditch that’s cool, but I’m not sure why you would expect to get an engineer’s salary for doing so.
…It occurs to me that I am interpreting “rush” in the RTS sense of attacking early before your opponent is ready, not in the sense of pressuring people to take their turns faster.
The idea that coding is the only part of your job is “actual work” is where you’re going wrong. The goal is to create robust, well-functioning software that’s documented and fulfills what it needs to do, not write an arbitrary amount of code. Your job is more than just doing the part you like.
Seems like it’s a valid choice in a competitive game. Unless there’s an option to disable military victories or explicitly play coop.
