These models are also already open sourced, you can’t stop it. Additionally all of those “requirements” would just mean that AI would only be owned by big corporations.

All I’m hearing is jailtime for Tina Belcher and her erotic friend fiction!
But seriously, i generally agree that as long as people aren’t sharing it shouldn’t be a problem. If I can picture it in my head without consequence, seems kinda silly putting that thought on paper/screen should be illegal.
Given his follow-up responses he seems to generally believe what he said (or at least upholding the joke?). I mean I kinda get the notion that we shouldn’t take advantage of people, but Mike made the competition himself. The guy asking to be paid isn’t taking advantage, he’s asking for what Mike promised him.
He did do a great job with what they gave him. He’s the only reason the film is bearable, and would have loved to see a more serious and earnest take on that movie.
I think the difference here is that floridians at local and state level want to cut funding, so they’re welcome to do that. The issue is, if that’s what you vote for and enact, don’t then turn around and ask for government money and/or turn down other states when they ask for federal money (like after Sandy).
I think the worst thing about it is batman doesn’t actually solve/do much. I like that him being new/young means he isn’t infallible, but I would have liked him to have a win or two.
Still love the movie though.
I absolutely agree, felt like they didn’t know what kind of movie they wanted to make and just kinda threw whatever they could think of into it.
I don’t know why this was down voted, but you’re right. It’s not sold as an accompaniment to the books, so should stand on its own.
Having read the books though, I really enjoyed the movies. I do understand though that a lot of that enjoyment came from the background knowledge I got from the books.
Yeah, I think this is something that people continously fail to realize, sports have been split by sex/gender so that sport events aren’t dominated by one sex/gender. If you’re drawing lines to protect one group you’ve opened up the can of worms about where that line is drawn.
If I slipped benzos to someone at a bar, what do you think the charges would be?
The fact of the matter is, in a situation like this you can’t get closer to attempted rape without a literal attempt.
Power Rangers is a franchise, but I’m pretty sure this is the first beat-em up for Power Rangers game in this style.
Not exactly a rougelite, but there is an rpg game like Metal Slug - Mercenary Kings
More the hades variety, but I was thinking something like 20XX/30XX, cause that plays more like Metal Slug.
Honestly surprised they haven’t made a rougelite game yet. Seems like the perfect fit given the prevelance of 2D side scrolling rouglites.
I think their point is that you or I wouldn’t get treated that lightly. How many people get 10 violations, let alone need a gag order in the first place. The sad fact is that a court acting “moderately” is a lot more lenient than what a lot of people experience.
It’s also possible that he did say all of those things and they’re only changing the story due to the negative reception. It’s a Sony site/interview after all.
God I hate sites like the dailybeast. The qoute in the article is “And when I was vice president, things were kind of bad during the pandemic”. However, Biden was VP during a pandemic - Swine Flu Pandemic. I wouldn’t be surprised if he made a gaffe like this, but their own article doesn’t support the headline.
Things like this continue to show how people don’t understand AI at all. Facial recognition does not work to this degree, it isn’t a 1:1. The way employers would know is through police records.
You just need to look at all the false police arrests around facial recognition systems and the like to know that you can’t get that level of fidelity.
Yeah, I’ve definitely seen it most used to describe people acting ridiculous.
Haha, you beat me to it. I think it’s the world warning @TheBananaKing@lemmy.world
