We have both Linux and Windows machines in my team. We do all the work in Linux, and register hours in Windows. We also all have iPhones that we only use for 2FA.

I think you have to alternate the quotations you use between doubles and singles, pairwise. Else the first pair is closed after --format.

Perhaps it’s a dead key in tour keyboard layout. If you press “e” after, do you get “é”?

You can choose a No Dead Keys layout, but then need to use a compose key to write accented characters.

Thanks for doing the math! I’m not quite sure I follow: why is the lengths different for row and columns on the Mantis? Are you calculating to the press point of your sculpted keycaps?

I’m curious about this point:

With square keys, each key has eight neighbours, but the diagonal neighbours are about 1.4 times further away than orthogonal ones and therefore harder to reach for the same finger.

Say I arrange square keys in columns with a 0.5u offset. Then each key also only has six neighbors. I wonder how that compares distance-wide to hexagonal keys.

Edit: the Klacker BS does this, but offsets the rows instead.

Did you check if there is a bios setting related to suspend, and that it’s set properly?

It’s the purpose of the laptops where I work :D We run everything on development servers, so the laptops just run your editor of choice, basically.

I don’t think it does. It didn’t when I checked a year ago, at least. You couldn’t get live previews on the workspace pop-up.

Can you point me to the feature you refer to? If it really does this, it would be a major game changer for me.

It’s restricted to specific inbox tabs. I now only use Inbox, Forums and Updates, and get no adds.

On Gnome,

• Workspace Matrix: provides a customizable n x m workspace grid, and a customizable pop-up that shows live preview of all workspaces and their windows (incl. e.g. video playing).
• Forge: windows tiling

In combination, these two features allow me very quick overview of everything I have open, presented in an ordered fashion, allowing quick, keyboard-driven application change.

I’m not aware that the exact features of Workspace Matrix are reproduced by anything in any other DE.

I have the same, but Netflix is then a miserable experience on my 4K TV.
