I watched a fairly recent youtube video podcast with a traditional porn actor and an onlyfans performer. The actor (cherie deville) talked about all the control she had, regular testing, and overall safety. The OF performer had none of that and basically described her last on camera act that devolved into SA and extortion. From that, I got the impression there is still some ethical porn out there and a lot that’s not since just anyone can create and push content now.

The fuck with this question. My youngest is barely 31. I guess I’m dust and fading memories. I will watch my anime and horror movies and shout at the clouds with an onion tied to my belt, fuck you very much

I didn’t go through the whole thing, but spot clicking, found he was still updating it in 2019. 2 sections of links on conspiracy theories. Overall web design circa 1996.

That website alone could be a big red flag for a lot of employers. Although it could have been worse. I didn’t find some stuff I expected to find, but I also stopped looking after about half an hour.

If you are in a relationship and that is your dynamic and you are happy with it, you do you. As long as you aren't annoying other people.

My husband likes to ask questions during movies and shows. I had to talk with him on boundaries.

I don't like to talk in movie theaters. People paid good money to enjoy the experience, including us. Screams, gasps, etc are fine. Reading subtitles to vision impaired people is fine. Dissecting what has happened to whom is not. We are there specifically to have questions posed and then answered by the movie itself, not by people in the audience. We can tear apart the flaws on the way home.

At home, it's different, we can usually pause it, and I don't mind as much discussing in real time. Unless it is clear it is about to be answered if you just watch for another minute. Then the answer is "just wait" and boom, story happens.

I don't, as far as I know, have ADHD. I did not notice foreshadowing and such until I took an elective in college that broke all that stuff down for cinema.

Now that I know, I notice it. It's like hearing the Wilheim scream. Once you know what it sounds like, you hear it pop up a lot. A Lot. I never noticed it at all before.

Same thing with Hero's Journey in storytelling.

Once you learn to recognize these things, you can't not notice them. Sometimes it ruins things a little, sometimes it makes them better.

If you want to know how to read the clues, watch some youtubes on how to spot everything. People love making videos about it.

Or, just continue to enjoy the ride, but stop asking for it to be explained. If you want the explanation either learn the clues or just read a spoiler summary beforehand. Don't risk ruining it for someone, who overhears your conversation by accident, when they just wanted to enjoy seeing the story unfold moment by moment.

I'm here and on Mastodon. I really like Mastodon. (I still have my old twitter account, but have not posted or commented for years. I never really used it anyway. Now I use it to see the occasional newsworthy linked tweet since they require a login now to view anything. I'm purposely ignoring its attempt to rebrand)

I still go to old.reddit and lurk on slow news days. But my feed isn't as robust or interesting as it was before the exodus. It's still good for historical help on certain topic. So I will keep checking it probably.

But to me it looks like Lemmy and Mastodon are getting slow, steady, but high quality growth overall. I think the fediverse in general may be the saving grace of the internet. It looks to me like the "main stream" internet is becoming one voice, much like Clear Channel taking over and homogenizing the eclectic voices of regional radio.

Why hasn't she been arrested for public nudity, sex acts in public, and all the upgrades for committing these crimes in front of minor children?
