Living expenses > income. It’s not complicated math. You can’t save when you don’t have enough to live and already putting off things like car repairs, health care, hair cuts, buying clothes…

I’m in my 50s with no savings. It isn’t lifestyle or marketing driven though. I just have had very few years where we had any extra. Also three teenagers and the price of food is killing me, cost of cars too. It’s just surviving that’s gutting me.
$10 billion funded school lunches for a year during COVID and we should have kept it going. School kitchens are back to having to try to collect “lunch debt” again. So how is less than a fifth of that going to end hunger? This is just election posturing and empty promises. Look for more of these coming soon from the right.
1.5% of the population has been killed. That’s a lot but 2% of the US died in the civil war, and far higher numbers. I know the wars are very different but larger numbers have also died in the current Ukraine war.
If they’re trying to eliminate them as a people they need to pick up the pace. Also, my family was displaced from their land in the 1900s and had to seek asylum in the US. Nobody called it a genocide but also everyone was mostly white.
More people have died in so many other wars, but this is a genocide? I keep reading it but I don’t see it. Land displacement is not genocide.
Commercial eggs aren’t fertilized. Most backyard chicken eggs aren’t fertilized. It’s mostly homestead farmer types with roosters around their hens that have fertilized eggs. And that white spot doesn’t mean anything.
He’s definitely white from the video but they probably want to scrub his social media history before they release his name.
Not even once. Not even from this post.
Yeah that’s true about Bill Maher. My mistake was actually vision related though. I can barely read on my phone screen. I’m usually on a large monitor with everything oversized. But I can’t always have access to it. Practicing with talk show hosts is an interesting idea.
I still stand by my take on biased moderators though. If I watch a hostile interview on Fox I root for the person they’re against. If I watch a hostile interview on MSNBC I root for the person they’re against. They’re all shit but in very different ways, mostly. They’re all sold out to the ultrarich so they have that in common.
How about debates that are actually debates, moderated by an independent and not partisan entertainers? I’m no fan of Trump but those are all strongly Democrat supporters. If you’re trying to sway independent votes, biased moderation sours the desired audience.
I feel this so much. My mattress has huge dents in it from weight & time. It’s memory foam but it only remembers dents now.
There are places where sales tax is around 15% too.
As a Christian I agree.
I’m just wondering how you got into my shower
It’d be nice if I had an alternative first.
It’s the most convenient restaurant around the corner from my home but I stopped going there.
Well, if trains existed.
I make less than I did 20 years ago plus now I have three kids. I can barely afford to eat.
Peace? Have you looked around?
Christianity embraces the God of the Torah but rejects the Muslim faith. There are exceptions but mainstream no.
