I participated in a few anomalies, both as support and an on ground person hitting the objectives. Shit was rad, man. I met a couple cool people and even business contacts through it.

Same. I rocked that game for a year before Pokemon Go came out. It was insanely addictive. I would walk like 3-5 miles a day and I’d take way too many breaks at work to go hit the portals by my office.

I’m not entirely sure what his deal is or why he’s famous, but I’ve seen a handful of videos that he’s posted to YouTube.

He’ll set up a little table like the one in the meme at a college campus, and his sign will read something divisive and clickbaity like “there are only two genders CHANGE MY MIND”

He basically invites people to debate him on camera, but he isn’t sincere in any way and the whole setup is just a mechanism for him to generate content of him owning the libs. For instance, he uses a system where there’s just one microphone between him and the other person, but he always holds the microphone and he can cut people off any time he wants. Any time he loses ground in an argument he’ll say something like “the point isn’t to be right; it’s to change my mind” or some dumb shit.

He’s a right wing guy with dumb opinions and he argues in bad faith. That’s pretty much his whole deal

Of course it does. I remember a lot of people thinking Rock types were immune to electric attacks because nearly every rock type in red and blue was also a ground type.

I know it’s kind of an unpopular thread, but geez, those are widely considered some of the greatest games. It seems like you’re a bit older than I was when I played most of those, and I wonder if my youth made me enjoy those games more than they deserved.

Totally. Alfred and Dick are always encouraging him to get out more as Bruce Wayne to help sell the playboy facade, but he just doesn’t have time for it.

That’s one way to interpret it, but I don’t think the movies ever actually tell us that. The game certainly suggests something else entirely.
