An LLM is a Large Language Model, which is a fancy way to say that a computer was given a bunch of information across the internet and can reference it quickly to give you an answer.
Sorry to hear that and I’m sure you’ll bounce back quickly.
Let me start by suggesting that if you can, take a week off so you can get in the right headspace for getting ready again to get out there again (if you can afford the time).
Is your resume up to date? If it isn’t, start by refreshing it so that you can start passing it along. If it’s not, use ChatGPT or any other LLM to help with this.
Do you have any friends at other companies or other people in your professional network? They might not be able to get you a job, but if they can cut through the first round of the cycle, that might make things easier.
Are you looking for the same type of job? If you are, are there any other skills/certificates that you can pick up to bolster your background?
Are you open to only staying in the same city or is moving elsewhere on the table? Assuming it’s the right thing to do for you/your family economically, perhaps a job in one city might be easier to acquire than where you are.
The last thing I’d ask you to keep at the top of your head is there is no shame in taking a lower paying job to keep yourself fed/clothed/housed. You know the saying, it’s always easier to look for a job when you have one.
Keep your positivity!
The payments to the couple went through a Texas-based shell company owned by Imelda Cuellar and two of the couple’s children, according to the indictment. That company received payments from the Azerbaijan energy company of $25,000 per month under a “sham contract,” purportedly in exchange for unspecified strategic consulting and advising services.
Sounds like bribery to me.
Balaji then revealed his shocking ideas for a tech-governed city where citizens loyal to tech companies would form a new political tribe clad in gray t-shirts. “And if you see another Gray on the street…you do the nod,” he said, during a four-hour talk on the Moment of Zen podcast. “You’re a fellow Gray.”
The Grays’ shirts would feature “Bitcoin or Elon or other kinds of logos … Y Combinator is a good one for the city of San Francisco in particular.” Grays would also receive special ID cards providing access to exclusive, Gray-controlled sectors of the city. In addition, the Grays would make an alliance with the police department, funding weekly “policeman’s banquets” to win them over.
“Grays should embrace the police, okay? All-in on the police,” said Srinivasan. “What does that mean? That’s, as I said, banquets. That means every policeman’s son, daughter, wife, cousin, you know, sibling, whatever, should get a job at a tech company in security.”
What in tarnation?
The Double (2011) with Richard Gere.
It even had articles written about it.
“Hijacked”
I take it you haven’t had the opportunity to meet anyone that grew up on the southern USA.
“Get” would be absolutely be colloquial for what you said.
It’s a metaphor.
The “g” is silent in the pronunciation of lasagna.
This gives the meaning that “real gangsters” operate silently.
I’ve always thought this was a pretty good one:
real G’s move in silence like lasagna
