Internet Explorer is still the best at messing up style definitions and CSS. Never seen anything like it.
Opera browser is the worst of the chromium based browsers in that regard I find.
I don’t know what this is

It’s Internet Explorer time all over again.
Isn’t modern Edge chromium based? I’d understand using Edge back when it was using it’s own technology, as much as I hate Microsoft internet browsers, it allowed for optimisations such as better battery life on laptops. But using chromium based Edge, I don’t understand it at all. Who wants to use Microsoft flavoured chrome? Yuck.
You know why the L in LGBT goes first, right? For me that’s very important and I’ll never change that.
I mean you’re going to have to use the messaging platform which people actually use if you don’t want to be a hermit. Create a burner Instagram account, buy a cheap android burner phone if you have the money and are super concerned, and get on with life.
This isn’t a gen z thing, this is how the world works. I have to use WhatsApp daily to talk to my friends and family. I don’t like it at all, but if I did not do it, I’d have no communication with them.
Surprised by C# and Java. People always moan that they have too much boilerplate code and something else about how OOP sucks and that makes these languages too verbose, yet they’re close to the top of the chart here for least characters used on average.
Yeah, here in South Africa most cars are manuals so you need to know how to drive them to get a full drivers licence. If you do your driving test in an automatic car, your licence only allows you to drive automatics. I’m in my mid 20s.
Wtf
Need For Speed Underground 2 and Burnout 3. Got it as a combo deal for Christmas as a kid.
1.5 TB for the PS4, and 500GB for my PS3, which also has PS2 and PS1 games. No PS5 yet
Or even 9gag, I would say it went downhill, but it already started in the dumps so…
“Resentment is like drinking poison and then hoping it will kill your enemies.”
I struggle with this one a lot, I definitely have a lot of resentment built up as I’ve grown up. But holding all in just makes my life worse, it only hurts me. It is mental prison of sorts. I think there’s another Mandela quote that states exactly that as well.
It’s a messaging app where you message other people, including close family and friends. Emojis are one of the most used features. If the emojis look trash compared to the competition, that’s one more barrier to entry for the average user. Me and you most probably don’t care about that at all and prioritise other features way above emojis, but for other users it matters a ton.
Because an instant messaging platform is only useful if there are people to, well, message on it. WhatsApp has the userbase worldwide, telegram does not.
That’s exactly what I said. I’ll just quote myself here:
Selling sex is legal, buying is not.
Gross. How can you even enjoy sex when you essentially bought someone’s consent?
If you like them but not their clients how is that supposed to work economically?
The Nordic or neo-abolitionist model exists. Sweden was the first nation to implement it I think. Selling sex is legal, buying is not. Seems to work for them
I’d give most of it away or start some kind of foundation. Having that much money, amongst all the poverty here in South Africa, it would just feel immoral.
The money I’d spend on myself would be to own an average middle class home, a normal car, and maybe a project car if I could get some utility from it. And on paying off medical debt and spending it on medical treatments to minimise my chronic back pain. And to set up a fund that pays me enough every month so I never have to worry about hunger or not having enough money by the end of the month to do stuff.
Because you remember it better when you actually write it out instead of just using a keyboard. And you can draw diagrams with ease. Most styluses are inaccurate and one dimensional, and buying a phone with actual proper stylus support in both the display and stylus itself is expensive. You could buy a separate technical device just for note taking with proper stylus support and have it upload notes to the cloud so you can access it at all times, but that requires a constant internet connection and mobile data is expensive. And then you have to carry this seperate device with you in the same way you’d carry a much cheaper physical notepad anyways.
It’s almost impossible not to have a unique fingerprint online with how stuff is tracked. Websites are tracking user agents, screen resolution, your GPU/web graphics renderer, etc.
The only way is to disable JavaScript, but good luck to using the internet without it
It’s awesome
