  • I mean you’re going to have to use the messaging platform which people actually use if you don’t want to be a hermit. Create a burner Instagram account, buy a cheap android burner phone if you have the money and are super concerned, and get on with life.

This isn’t a gen z thing, this is how the world works. I have to use WhatsApp daily to talk to my friends and family. I don’t like it at all, but if I did not do it, I’d have no communication with them.

  • I’d give most of it away or start some kind of foundation. Having that much money, amongst all the poverty here in South Africa, it would just feel immoral.

The money I’d spend on myself would be to own an average middle class home, a normal car, and maybe a project car if I could get some utility from it. And on paying off medical debt and spending it on medical treatments to minimise my chronic back pain. And to set up a fund that pays me enough every month so I never have to worry about hunger or not having enough money by the end of the month to do stuff.

  • Because you remember it better when you actually write it out instead of just using a keyboard. And you can draw diagrams with ease. Most styluses are inaccurate and one dimensional, and buying a phone with actual proper stylus support in both the display and stylus itself is expensive. You could buy a separate technical device just for note taking with proper stylus support and have it upload notes to the cloud so you can access it at all times, but that requires a constant internet connection and mobile data is expensive. And then you have to carry this seperate device with you in the same way you’d carry a much cheaper physical notepad anyways.
