This has to be bait.

I miss when this style of website was more popular for software projects. There are plenty of projects with modern websites that still manage to do it well, but there’s just something about the instant familiarity that comes with that type of layout.
I installed Fedora on a system for the first time a few weeks ago and had a generally positive impression of the installer, but I think it was still unable to detect the existing OS on the drive. It was fine because I was wiping it anyway, but I definitely got the impression that it’s mainly designed for more simple use cases.
Was that the infamous Toy Story 2 incident?
Sorry, I phrased my comment poorly. What I meant was that the article doesn’t describe what specifically led to those charges, apart from a racist group chat of some kind.
Had this exact thought as well. The article is so vague that it doesn’t actually describe what they seem to be getting charged with, so unless the DA is completely overstepping bounds (possible but unlikely) there has to be more to it.
Ugh, not this again. I’m very adamantly against piracy and I’ve personally dumped every one of my Switch ROMs from games I physically own, but these kinds of stunts make me want to pirate Nintendo games purely out of spite. Hopefully this gets thrown out or otherwise resolved quickly. The issue of clean room emulators has been tested before and found to be fair use and to my knowledge there’s no legal precedent for Nintendo’s claims.
My uncle-in-law is convinced that the CCP is sending spies and sleeper agents in droves across the border. There’s just no way to reason with this level of delusion.
They still have a 6-seat lead, and even if two or three resignations follow they’ll still have a 1-seat buffer on party-line votes.
That KDE Plasma 5 is finally usable and stable, after having decided to stop pushing the ridiculous plasmoids on the user […] is like having an old whore finally becoming a respectable woman.
Yeah, I stopped reading here.
My company has on multiple occasions brought in applicants to interview who aren’t qualified for any positions we’re actively looking to fill. I’m not 100% sure why that is, but it’s led to us rejecting candidates who everyone otherwise felt pretty positive about.
The Asus BT500 dongle works quite well in my experience as long as you’re running a kernel from the last 1-2 years, it’s only BT 5.0 though.

The US wields immense geopolitical power; of course they get a say. That’s not to say that it could prevent an annexation if the CCP wanted it badly enough, but Washington has no shortage of levers to pull to make it as unattractive an option as possible.
You made an assumption and you've yet to expound on how you justified it beyond some vague assertion about American political discourse. Give me something to introspect on, then, for crying out loud.
Anti-China/pro-Taiwan sentiment isn't exactly unique to the US. I think you're alluding to an incendiary tone with respect to how you say Americans express their views, but that doesn't seem to quite fit so I'm a little lost there.
I'm not sure why you would assume I'm American. I mean, you happen to be right in this case, but I'm still not sure why you'd assume that.
Anyhow, there's an irony in your assertion that disagreeing with the position of one's government is "brainwashed."
Microsoft also released their own package manager called Winget a few years ago. It mostly just wraps existing installers to allow for unattended installation, but it seems to work pretty well in my (limited) experience.
