In my opinion, ML theory is pretty left leaning when it comes to economics and the end goal of it, but the authoritarian plan for transitioning to it does not align with most other leftist virtues and ideas.

So, you are saying that if someone wants the same end goal as you, but has a differing opinion on how we accomplish that, you insult them. I’m sure you change a lot of minds and make a lot of friends with your method.

I hate it when ignorant people conflate Nazis and communists. I have argued with so many dumb people who think that the Nazis were a Socialist party, when the exact opposite is true. These people probably think that the DPRK is democratic, too.

I am aware that not all furries are animal abusers. An uncomfortable amount of them are, unfortunately. Some of the most prominent furry ‘celebrities’ have been outed as zoophiles and predators, and they still have had a fanbase and are allowed to attend cons afterwards.

That being said, I am just making a dark joke. One of my good friends is a furry who calls out and protests zoophiles in the furrydom. Most furries are pretty wholesome. I just don’t think we should hide the fact that a part of that community were drawn to it because they are sexually attracted to animals.

It seems like the best bet is to just stay away, motherfucker.

That’s fair and reasonable. I just think that the fact that alcohol use is so common, it makes it very unfair to pick on other drug users as if they are somehow worse or more prone to violence than alcoholics are.

I don’t think drug use by itself should be enough to take away your gun rights, personally. I do believe mental health reasons are acceptable, though, and if the drug a person is using is making them mentally unstable, then that should be the main reason their gun rights are removed.

I do think that keeping guns out of easy, legal, access of active drug abusers is appropriate. But as you say, without a conviction, the scope of those restrictions should be narrow and appeal-able.

Considering that the form 4473 that you have to sign to purchase a firearm makes no mention of alcohol, I think this is hypocritical, at best. What’s the difference between alcoholics owning a firearm, and heroin addicts owning a firearm? All I know is that I would be way less worried about the junkie gun owner than a raging alcoholic gun owner.

Its a dumb law, that was probably spawned from racism. Nobody should have their gun rights removed if they did not do or threaten anything violent.

I understand that, but my point was that we aren’t carnivores at all, we are omnivores.

I am not vegan FWIW, I was just responding to the person who was saying that comparing us to sea carnivores was a bad comparison, when comparing us to land carnivores yields the same results. It seemed kind of like they missed the point of the joke which was to make fun of people who wrongly call us carnivores, especially as a response to veganism.

It was all kind of useless pedantry on my part, anyways, so I apologize.

The joke is making fun of people who call us carnivores, though. Our teeth are very different from land carnivores, as well.

The sweating and shaking is the parts I haven’t heard before, but as someone who has smoked a lot of weed and quit a few times, the problems with sleeping were definitely a thing for me. I’ve also worked in the industry for a while and have heard restlessness affecting other people who quit.

Even if it was completely serious, it just becomes a dumb statement. Its just showing how everything can be reworded to be presented as a binary choice like this. It doesn’t actually say anything bad about people for identifying any sort of way.

For example, there are a lot of species birds, but they can all be described by the binary choices of: Is Crow, or Not Crow. Still, its very obvious to anyone with a brain that that’s not the most helpful way to classify things.
