Well i (didnt downvote btw) yes we pay tax on both. That is when we use power when there is no sun i have to buy it from the power company with jot just 1 but several taxes. The power i produce (i have many solarpanels and cannot use all of it when its produced) i send that back which costs money and yes also taxed.
