Actually if anyone has advice I’d love to hear. My server is a b450 mobo with an athlon 320ge. Even with no hard drives spinning it uses 65watts. I don’t understand how it is possible. 6 hard drives bring it to 85-90. Running truenas if it matters
I keep it off most of the time to safe power, I was expecting especially with such a cou much lower wattage, like under 20 idle. My assumption is the power supply can’t get low enough.
Sometimes I think about getting pizza hut, then I remember it costs 36$ for 2 pizzas, so I just go to the store for two 6$ pizzas
The problem isn’t the energy use nor the cost of the am radio, it’s the amount of shielding and other changes that need to be made so the motor and inverter don’t interfere with the am signal. On my bolt there’s an am radio, there’s some ‘stations’ that I can hear the actual sound of the motor.
Most things live on land, about 2% of Earth’s biomass is in the oceans.
There are a lot of trees, fungus, and cows
I see a lot of anti-musk sentiment but didn’t really know why. What happened to piss everyone off? My guess is some autistic ranting on Twitter but that didn’t seem enough
3.3 million is the number of people in the 1%
3.3 is 1% of 330
Starting this year I now have an extra tax I must pay because I use too little oil. 120$ btw

I’m still waiting on my 2021, and 2022 refunds
I bring loose carts into the store on my way in, usually don't use a cart since I bring bags
My gripe is there's not enough room to put items from my bag to scan.
Need to put my bag on the bagging side, but it's full. Gotta take stuff out until scanned. No where to put the stuff, so I pile it on the floor.
Fuck me for bringing my own bag I guess
Probably all smart thermostats, but for sure at least the Google thermo will offer to enroll your thermo in a rewards kinda program. Will get money (100$/yr for me) for Google to lower your HVAC use during major loads. Also you get a warning before it happens.
A lot of power companies also offer pretty much the same thing, but they can control it. Usually you get a few over rides per year before some penalties.
It’s a good idea and should probably be the norm, should probably just fix the grid instead of the bandaid too
Always a knife. By far my most used and important tool used many times a day
