I don’t care, my point still stands. Your hatred of America or love for Canada is irrelevant, and so are your assumptions as to why people are moving (even they literally give you the reasons in the article). The fact remains that emigration from Canada to the US is at a 10 year high, is far above the historical average, and is increasing.
In the same year (2022), only 10k Americans immigrated to Canada. This is only 8% of the number of Canadians who emigrated to the US (126k), despite the US having 8.5x as many people.

I’m not arguing for or against, I’m just pointing out the fact that emigration trend from Canada to the US is happening and it is at a 10 year high. I merely pointed out the reasons cited in the article as I clearly stated.

Actual reasons cited in the article: Lower taxes, higher wages, affordable housing, dislike of Trudeau’s politics, cheaper groceries, increasing crime rates, increasingly disappointing healthcare system, and warm weather
Whether you agree or disagree with these reasons is irrelevant. The point is that trend is there and it’s accelerating. So to your tongue in cheek point about Americans mass migrating north, that likely won’t happen because the opposite trend is occurring as we speak.
That is beyond meaningless. Pepe has no owner. It is a symbol of the internet culture and it’s not going away any time soon.

Usually rates that involve small raw numbers get swayed pretty significantly by relatively small changes. For example, Malta had a 3 murders last year, if that number doubled to 6, the homicide rate would increase by 100%. That’s a very significant increase, but does it imply that Malta has turned into a dangerous country? Not really, no. The increase would make it’s rate go from 0.561 per 100k to 1.122 per 100k, that’s around the same as New Zealand which is another very safe country. It should still be noted and discussed because there’s value in that, but my point is that these trends and swings in statistics can be pretty misleading if not put into proper context.
As it turns out most men and women aren’t weird doomer weirdos who spend a considerable amount of their lives being miserable online. Most people want families, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
If anybody read the study, which I highly doubt, you’ll see that this story is highly exaggerated. The actually study showed the sterilization in women went from 2.83 per 100k people per month before Dobbs to 5.31 per 100k people per month after Dobbs. For men, the increase went from 1.03 per 100k people per month to 1.18 per 100k people per month.

There is a visible increase, but the actual rate is a lot smaller than what this article is attempting to suggest.

Wtf are you talking about? Communism is literally a Marxist idea. It is the utopia end zone that Marx envisioned for his ideology. Listing off a bunching of other fantasy based ideologies doesn’t give this utopia any more credibility. It’ll never happen. Reddit’s strategy is genuinely brain dead. Just think of the shit they’ve been up to:
- Jacking up API prices to unreasonable levels and killing off third party apps that brought millions of users on to your platform
- Continuously make the UI shittier and shittier to the point where it’s unusable
- Do the same with the app
- Kill off old Reddit which is the sole reason millions of users still use the site
- Add awards and expand the feature to basically become paid reaction emojis
- Remove awards even though they were one of the biggest revenue streams
- Announce it was a mistake and add the awards again
- Add avatars that nobody asked for and make some of them paid
- Add a premium subscription that does nothing and do absolutely nothing to improve it
- Add a bunch of useless features that nobody uses like Reddit live
Truly the works of geniuses.

Okay, let’s suppose this plan succeeds… Then what? Are we going to replace the court? Who said the new judges are going to be more or less the same regardless of political affiliation? And what exactly is there to stop the opposition from doing the same thing?
