Whether or not it constitutes “news” is debatable but the subject matter IS inherently political. Pins were worn out of a political viewpoint. They were complained about out of a political viewpoint. And that complaint was addressed both thru social media and revised corporate dress policies out of a, you guessed it, political viewpoint.

Personally, I support Palestine and any world citizen’s right to protest the genocide happening there. But my opinions aren’t what’s relevant here. I make no corporate policies 😂.

I think it’s in the sense that he did this with the intent of being favored over his opponent due to his support of things like coal. It backfired because it was so cringe that even the coal groups don’t want him now and endorsed his opponent.
