I’m glad I have slowly moved away from Reddit, hope we get some sort of Fedi recap stuff in the future as is a really cool idea but glad we don’t get forced to use Apps and stuff.
Both look like amazing websites for people to use, thanks for sharing
Yeah it does seem like big games are trying to turn into platforms, take Minecraft they are trying to make there own eco-system for game devs as well.
When they add support it would be cool to see if they add the ability to turn on / off strumming as that was a big part older rock band / guitar hero fans have gotten so used to strumming as someone new might not want to do strumming.
Also would be cool to see Fortnite Festival controllers being sold in stores and I’m sure the game will keep to grow and develop over time.
I personally just use my phone speakers, but I can see the benefit of not risking your device next to the bath or shower.
I’m guessing this is because of more sales of the Steam Deck, haven’t got myself one yet but I’d love to as everyone that has gotten ones has said it’s worth the money as well as is a great way to get through your games on the go.
And this alternative will not be able to go away easily as Decentralisation allows anyone to run an instance.
It’s where I really hope more of the Reddit community will jump ship to Fediverse instances as there seems to be less and less of a future for reddit in my eyes.
I would love that too, I know they have the downloads of them on there site but it would be nice to be able to play older GTA Games on Steam / Steam Deck
On my end there's no link and it's a nude.
WTF is the image for this news? It doesn't even link to an article
I know it's more complex, just if you are trying to explain what the Fediverse is to someone who's older or someone who just thinks it's another social media instead of a whole new way of looking at the internet it's hard to explain to that person who isn't really looking actively for an 'alternative' for 'x' platform.
Mainly OnlyFans… A Fediverse store sounds kind of call though.
Especially when trying to explain that Mastodon and Lemmy can't talk together but you can still follow / subscribe to people
Yeah I thought about that method but it seems to just make it more complex
Lately I've only really seen RSS for PeerTube stuff or for Podcasts. I personally would most likely use them for Podcasts if I ever really wanted to listen to them but I don't really have a good RSS feed manager thing what ever you call them lol
Yeah it is, OP was talking about Programs that people don't talk about to often that are useful. But yeah it's cross-platform.

I would guess it would be instance to instance basis and will most likely have to be 100% transparent with what it’s doing.
