The game was ArcheAge.
This is the line the victim said to the attacker once the attacker was subdued:
Leeper quipped that his only answer to Kang was: “It will be a long time before you play video games.”

The detail I was interested in:
“The plea deal required Assange to admit guilt to a single felony count but also permitted him to return to Australia without any time in an American prison. The judge sentenced him to the five years he’d already spent behind bars in the U.K. fighting extradition to the U.S. on an Espionage Act indictment that could have carried a lengthy prison sentence in the event of a conviction. He was holed up for seven years before that in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London.
The conclusion enables both sides to claim a degree of satisfaction.”
Hoobin since the day the doctor brought me out the womb
This is probably the most straightforward explanation. In many-to-many, I usually have a helper table standing in between which holds the foreign keys
Sucks bro. You’re in good company tho
Where ya planning to move to?
Instantly made me think of this guy’s channel:
Look, I’ll be honest with you: I don’t know how this is going to go. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to be a fly on the wall.
That said, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to put yourself out there, too. By asking for a dance, you’re communicating “I’m here to have fun”. Try to say that to as many people as you can and you’ll have a blast.
Also, Salsa is so dang easy to do the basic step. 90% of the Latin dances I’ve been to have been just doing the basic step for the whole song and looking at people around me for inspiration of moves to try.
You’re gonna do great.
Martyrs gotta die
What I was looking for - thanks
Kids of vloggers being regulated like child stars is definitely a compelling idea. Not sure how you would actually enforce that since there’s no registration as an influencer’s kid with a governing body (like child stars do with SAG), but it’s definitely a better way to go.
Damn. It’s amazing to read some of the HIPAA and FERPA fines out there for exposing data accidentally. Then you’ve got this kind of breach, which is probably endemic and at a much larger scale.
Great read
This was the advice I received when I consulted a lawyer on my non-compete. She said “I mean, you could go for it, but if they do call you on it, you’ll either owe the wages from your new organization, or you’ll have to take them to court and that’ll likely take a year or legal fees. You have to ask yourself if that’s worth it to you and your family.”
Sucked to hear, and NCs are predatory anti-worker BS.
They’ve been around forever, which is where my pessimism comes from. I’ve personally suffered and even had to pass up a job due to a non-compete. I’m not going to court to prove a point, which means employers have much more power than workers.
I think this is neat.
A good read and the principles hold for a lot of hobbies. Lots of small projects are more fun, more engaging, and better skill-building experiences than learning how to make a masterpiece from the get-go (woodworking example: a perfect cherry chest of drawers with all wood joinery and a french polish finish.)
Popcorn engaged
This is the most deranged shit…
