I really enjoyed visiting Cimiteiro Monumentale in Milan. A historic cemetery with lots of lavishishly designed huge tombs. Very few tourists there and no scammers whatsoever.

Reading online comments and reading a book might technically be the same action, but trust me it’s really not comparable. Books are also a great way to practice English. It’s basically how I got to my level despite never having studied for tests.

I have no issue saying that the current government unconditionally supporting Israel is a bad thing either. I’d never pretend the place I live in is the best place ever, or morally superior. The communist party of Russia is a minority party in opposition, it’s not governing at all. That’s United Russia, which holds over 70% of the seats of parliament. United Russia is not communist. You’re very confidently incorrect here.

Anti-Communist? Russia has been a capitalist country since 1989, they’re not even claiming to be communist.

Well, it’s not like you’re willing to cut ties with the West and align yourself with Russia either. Instead you’re trying to thread the middle ground by keeping your head down and keeping up trade with both. You’re not taking a stance, which is exactly why you’re not a political world leader.

• Rapid development, but still a lot of extreme poverty and inequality

PCs. Gaming laptops kinda suck IMO, especially their cooling. They also can’t really be upgraded and are much more expensive for the performance. For mobile PC gaming I much prefer a Steam Deck.

There have been many times in history when things have been far worse, so no, it’s not the worst. But many things are in decline right now. You have to dig 3 comment chains down until anyone even questions the article. In any case, I don’t see how that’s relevant to my point about moderation.

Their strict moderation has odd blind spots though. I just had a look at their front page to see what it’s like these days. They have a news article up since 15 hours that claims France has sent troops to Ukraine, which is just straight up fake news. Apparently allowed to stay up as long as it fits the narrative though.
