The legal system that’s reluctant to investigate, prosecute or punish corporations and the ultra wealthy at the head of them, but enthusiastic about throwing poor people in for profit prisons.

Tech companies that will platform any reprehensible views in exchange for a few dollars of ad impressions, pumping their users for pennies with an elaborate emotional slot machine.

Then of course the open political corruption. Gerrymandering, insider trading, disenfranchised voters, voting machines with no paper trail and a deeply flawed election system where any vote that isn’t for one of the two neoliberal parties is functionally thrown in the bin.

When we can’t stand it any more, we’re fed bullshit non-solutions instead, written and published by the problems themselves and designed to make them even richer.

“The free market will fix it. Buying more guns will fix it. Electing a man with the communication skills and emotional regulation of a toddler will fix it. Murdering people based on the amount of melanin in their body will fix it”.

Each one has already been tried and each one has failed to even dent the issue, because if they had any chance of succeeding then they would have banded together to undermine them in a bipartisan act of class solidarity.

And fuck, that’s just the politics. The same insatiably greedy, neoliberal trash is also responsible for the impending climate breakdown, endless wars and unprecedented levels of unemoloyment and homelessness because no matter how much we give them, they just can’t say “no” to profits.

We need to vote, but we also need so much more than voting. We need the entire world to unite in protest, demanding their governments either acknowledge the rights, freedoms and entitlements of every person on the planet, or be held accountable when they don’t.

So it’s not hard to see why people might get disillusioned when “maybe if we abuse minorities more, we’ll be able to own homes again” still seems to be an idea people want to explore.

They were 100% aware they were hosting a “not technically child pornography but we’re going to use it as child pornography” sub, but there’s no subreddit degenerate enough that they’ll ban it while it’s profitable.

I won’t. He’s not a good person and doesn’t make even a token effort to pretend otherwise.

Republicians are never going to go after a Democrat for sleazy, self-serving neoliberalism because they’re also sleazy, self-serving neoliberals.

It’s one of the unspoken rules of the rich – you can use unimportant bullshit to jostle for votes, viewers and market share but you’re never, ever to attack the system that makes them richer.

The moment someone does, watch them band together across “left-wing” and “right-wing” in a show of class solidarity and signal strength the rest of us can only dream of.

Yep. We need more headlines that end with “despite GOP opposition”.

You can take your Mein Kampf conspiracy theories and fuck off.

We can see who America arms and your bullshit doesn’t even hold up for the Israeli rulers responsible, let alone an entire race of people scattered all over the world.

It doesn’t seep in, it’s cultivated by far-right groups that intentionally target children and openly groom them for extremism.

A song with “suicidal lyrics” is not even remotely comparable to the albums this site sells, which is why they don’t need a dedicated pro-suicide website to sell them on.

Would you rush to defend an album put out by ISIS, that pushed the agenda of ISIS, with all profits going to ISIS?

It’s getting exhausting seeing people become increasingly unhinged and justifying it because “well, they’re baddies.”

Then maybe you should explain your exhaustion to the group responsible for their overwhelming majority of mass shootings, who openly celebrate the killing of black and LGBT+ people, rather than someone you’ve decided isn’t appropriately sad that neo-nazis got exposed for doing a thing they did.

You don’t need to be a fascist to make excuses for fascists, but it’s bizarre that you read my comment about all the apologists the decided “he just hasn’t heard my brilliant apologise yet”.

You can drop the “it could happen to you” act because it almost certainly won’t. For this site and those albums, “I just didn’t have time to unpick what the lyric ‘until every kike is dead’ meant” isn’t even a remotely plausible excuse.

Ultimately, Biden’s statement is just his part in the pantomime. He’s doing the “left-wing neoliberal” thing where he does exactly the same horrific shit as the right-wing neoliberals, but he frowns while he does it.

If he doesn’t frown hard enough, he might lose the election, but it’s not going to stop the children being blown up or the neoliberals profiting from it.

Music is an extremely important part of my life but there isn’t a single band that would make me give money to neo-nazis.

I don’t know why everyone is so eager to absolve them. If they have something to say in their defense, they can say it themselves.

They were Trump voters, so that’s inherent. They seemed enthusiastic about their son’s interest in guns because it’s right-wing.

But America makes guns available to shitty parents and rarely requires them to be properly secured from children, no matter how many red flags that child shows.

Stories like this will happen over and over again until that changes.

Unfortunately, that’s not how greed works. They’ll never say “no thanks, we’ve made enough profit from Ukraine”.
