It’s completely anecdotal, but I just saw a post from the weird, hyper religious kid I was in the Navy with asking if any 3rd party cared about “unborn souls.”

Not to disagree with anything you’re saying, but I hate the phrase “borderline pedophillia.” Either they’re sexualizing children or not. It’s like saying “non-consensual sex.” There’s no such thing. It’s rape or consensual sex.
Could he even do that? I mean JD is the official nominee for VP. It doesn’t seem right that Trump could just change his mind. Not to mention early ballots are starting to go out in 2 weeks. If you vote for Trump/VD that wouldn’t count for Trump/Kennedy. Right?
I’m in Oregon and every other ad on Pluto is about how great Kroger is to their employees. I feel like the average person doesn’t realize how disastrous the merger will be for everyday people. Food is already becoming unaffordable. They aren’t merging to lower prices.

Exactly. No one voted for Kamala. People didn’t vote for Biden, they voted against Trump. Hilary won the primary because Warren split the progressive vote and wouldn’t drop out.
Dems haven’t put forward a truly clean and charismatic leader since Obama.
Whenever I hear about a shitty judge, DA, or cop that’s where my mind jumps immediately. Once one of these people have their judgment or integrity called into question, every case they had any involvement in should also be questioned.
Good points. However, I would argue that the DNC would absolutely fuck up picking a new nominee. They would pick some “centrist” unlikeable democrat that would try to appeal to a moderate middle that just doesn’t exist. They would run a flaccid campaign and manage to piss off everybody trying to appeal to everybody. Republicans would absolutely capitalize on the chaos.
Literally, the publisher of the data explicitly states and explains why in the quote.
The drop in reported crime coincides exactly with the George Floyd protests. Saying that because reported crime went down, all crime went down without addressing the cultural shift of the relationship between the public and the police is dishonest.
I never made any kind of argument. I just pointed out that the FBI cautions the public from drawing broad conclusions to people who are drawing broad conclusions.
“Data Considerations The data found on the Crime Data Explorer represents reported crime, and is not an exhaustive report of all crime that occurs. It’s important to consider the various factors that lead to crime activity and crime reporting in a community before interpreting the data. Without these considerations the available data can be deceiving. Factors to consider include population size and density, economic conditions, employment rates, prosecutorial, judicial, and correctional policies, administrative and investigative emphases of law enforcement, citizens’ attitudes toward crime and policing, and the effective strength of the police force.”
That’s the huge take away here. The Chinese can’t comprehend that the DOD doesn’t have a social media control division. Yes we have the NSA and stuff spying, but they don’t control anything.
It’s always nice to see my shitty little hometown making national headlines for incompetence and bigotry.
A little background you won’t get from anywhere else about newberg:
It was a sleepy little town of about 15,000 in the Portland metro area. It had some decent jobs (it’s actually the dental equipment manufacture’s western hub). Over time the cost of living there has exploded. It is within commuting distance of Wilsonville (Oregon’s tech hub) and Hillsboro (Nike/Intel). It is wine country as well. The locals are getting priced out of the area. As expected, when people feel they are getting left behind by society they turn to conservatism. Now you see the results of that. Conservative grifters promised more than they could ever deliver and wasted needed resources fighting losing ideological battles.
It makes me sad :(
In what world would it ever be ok for a Supreme Court justice to buy and sell individual stocks?
Almost $80,000 per daily user?
Same statement except he should say that it would be legal for him to kill 6 Supreme Court justices.
I hope some idiots show up in MAGA hats and immediately get dismissed
Same story as everyone else. Bought pre-covid, refinanced, now sitting pretty. We desperately want to move, but I would have to make like $50k more a year for the same quality of life.
What about ThePicardManeuver?!
It’s weird seeing a picture of the pope where he doesn’t have the silliest hat.
Literally every election is decided by the “undecided”. Democrats vote democrat and republicans vote republican. It rare that anyone changes party. What determines elections is if democrats can get people who wouldn’t otherwise vote to vote. Every time people turn out, democrats win. When people are uninterested they lose. Those ~50k people in suburbs of swing states are not unimportant, they are the only thing that matters.
