Not shocking at all. We have daily localized shootings and mass shootings every couple months that make national news. One orange jackass, whether you’re a supporter or not, nobody gives a shit. People are more interested the shooter’s story not the shootee.
They Live and The Stuff. Watched them again recently and really enjoyed them.
McDonald’s is just a joke at this point. Pretty much stopped getting food from them except for breakfast once in a while, but even stopped that. My usual is a Sausage and Egg McMuffin with extra cheese. It costs a whopping $6.08 in my area.
I said🖕you greedy McCunts, I’m making my own and found a copycat recipe that is really, really good and I honestly can’t tell the difference. I bought ingredients to make 12 sandwiches at $1.73 each and even had two extra patties leftover. A savings of $4.35 per!
Of course we are not including my labor costs, yada yada, but it proves the point. Not to mention McDonald’s pays pennies on the dollar buying in bulk, so even with labor, they are making a killing.
I’m no scientist but this seems obvious, as someone who’s had a saltwater aquarium and done maintenance myself.
I didi’t even bother with coral, the closest I got was an anemone. I had the tank in balance for about a year with a great ecosystem that all but took care of itself with minimal water changes. Then one long weekend vacation the power went out for several days and it was enough to throw things out of whack. I tried for a year to carefully get it back and never could.
Until we can stop/control climate change, it is a losing battle and even then, it will be difficult if not impossible to get them back to what they once were.
