They meant hot, but didn’t dare say it.
They meant hot, but didn’t dare say it.
People say I look like Carrie Ann Moss (Trinity) but as a child I had more Lucy Lawless resemblances. So I don’t know, but either case they’ll have to get a tan cause I’m more of a Penelope Cruz skin tone.
I tried Aikido for a while and did some Qui Gong as well. I see your point about the BS floating around, but the physical and also mental benefits are undeniable. It may vary from person to person, the same way some people can’t meditate, some won’t get anything from these types of activities.
Yeah I had to read it twice to figure it wasn’t years. And I use metric, so I know exactly how tall these two are but for some reason it didn’t click on the first read
Some people here saying the same age you work and pay taxes and I absolutely agree, but with the caveat that it shouldn’t be compulsory before age 25.
And I pick 25 as it’s the average age iirc the brain is considered to be fully matured.
I personally had no clue of what I was doing and regret my first few rounds voting. I was aware at the time that I lacked the information and the big picture view of the political situation to make an informed decision though, and wished I could avoid voting entirely but in my country it was compulsory.
He taught those pesky mortals how to use fire, can you believe it? And the gods didn’t create those mortals to begin with. Add insult to injury I guess.
I’ll +1 this on behalf of my sister
Finally, someone asking the questions that really matter!
My favorite is Piccolo. I liked Piccolo Daimaoh in DB, he made a good villain but his offspring, the Piccolo that carried on to DBZ, I fell in love with that character. The design is great, the personality, and all his arc until the Cell saga. Sadly he quickly falls into the background after that.
I know he gets the orange version nowadays but I haven’t checked out the movie or manga for that matter. I’m not a fan of the 3d style art for the franchise at least not for animation media.
I don’t understand, everything except the first paragraph (which doesn’t apply to me) is exactly why I enjoy mushrooms
Does it mean I’m always doing it at starter level?
Are these famous people and I got no idea what’s going on?
So while I was in my teens I got into a palmistry phase. I was like 15 or 14 y/o. One of my highschool teachers started teasing me about it, and at some point asked me for a palm reading, just for the lulz.
I took it seriously, as I do with most things unfortunately, and did as asked. I didn’t say much because I had no idea of what I was doing, but I did recognize in his hands what my book said was a sign of sudden end of life. I estimated the time and warned him he probably didn’t have a lot of time left, five years tops. He got really angry when I said that and held the grudge for about two weeks, claiming I was being rude. I just wanted to help…
Time passed and I grew out of my palm reading phase.
Almost two years later during class someone showed up and informed us that the teacher died in a car crash for driving recklessly. The room went silent. Everyone including myself had forgotten about the palm reading incident, well, almost everyone. Breaking the silence with a gasp, one of my classmates said, “OMG!!! IT’S LIKE WHAT (my irl name) SAID DURING THE PALM READING!!! OMG!!!”
May I ask, why did you like 100 years of solitude? Did you read it in Spanish or translated to another language? I read it in Spanish and can appreciate a lot of good things in it, but I always wonder how it feels like for people who don’t have a latin/Spanish background. Perhaps you do, I don’t know. Still curious!
I only read the Count, and I loved it
Yeah I often get specific cravings. They’re usually in the following categories:
sweets (not too often but when I do, I usually hit chocolate)
fruits (sometimes I crave sweeter, sometimes acidic) I think the water and fiber here plays a role because when I crave these the chocolate doesn’t fix it, and isn’t enjoyable
protein ( eggs or any meat, dairy doesn’t cut it)
fatty stuff (here I’ll go for cheese, butter, peanut butter, perhaps canned kippers if I got some or if the only thing available is chocolate I’ll take it)
very salty stuff ( green olives, prosciutto, rarely chips, I get what I can)
Nuts are sometimes good at quenching protein and fat cravings but many times it won’t work.
Hey, what you say is true, but I still find value in the opinions of a bunch of strangers. It’s not professional, yet it helps me see what the majority of people would think in my shoes. It’s a check-in with reality in a way. I don’t think I could get that talking to a single person no matter how good they are. They’re two completely different things.
Thank you!
I agree, I wasn’t planning to monologue, but yeah.
Thanks. I don’t know where I got my sources, possibly internet experts, some of my friends, my mother, other women I’ve met briefly.
I am a recluse practically, and we’ve been meeting just the two of us so there would be no toxic environment or anything. The one with stakes to lose is me, since we work in a similar industry (well atm I’m on retail but hopefully I can find a job doing what I like again) and word spreads fast. I already have two embarrassing experiences with people who are in the industry and it does NOT look helpful at all when applying for jobs. I’m always wondering if any of those guys is ever reviewing applications and if that has any impact on it.
But what you say is true though. I hate this so much
We’ve been hanging out a few times, but it wasn’t “a date” even though it was just the two of us most times. We don’t see or talk as frequently as people who are about to start dating do though. I was hoping to build some momentum but from the replies here I’m getting the idea that I’m going to have to man up and ask him on a date formally.
I need to see the full creature
