Well, in 2 and 4 years when they have accomplished nothing useful despite have all three branches, people will be ready for a big change. At least I can hope, right.

I keep mine home when they are sick… but there is some evidence that reduced exposure to illness is actually bad for your health. So get out there and roll in the cooties a little.
I don’t know about “large” swath… it’s hard to tell since the media is going to focus on them and make them look larger than they are. It would be really interedting to see a poll of voters that also asked if the things trump did were fake news. Then compare how many trump voters answered yes. That might give us an approximation of the % that did so because they were just dumb enough to buy that hogwash.
Vance is just ambitious, he doesn’t idolize hitler, putin and kim
No, they don’t. They love themselves. And they love praise. Otherwise we are nothing to them.
But we should leave it up to the states to decide… right? Right?
How do you know he isn’t on the intel communities hitlist. They still have time. Vance for pres in 2025.
The flet poor thing was the difference maker. I don’t think anyone is saying everyone who voted for trump did so because they felt poor.
I’ve never used photoshop. Not one of my skills. That was why I hoped I could just ask an AI to generate the image.
Reducing extremism, reduces the impact of advertising, which means business loses influence… and the rich lose influence. So that is who hates ranked choice voting.
Bring enough of them…

Here’s my simple take. Vote Harris, then hold a massive pro Palestinian demonstration on inauguration day. Harris might be swayed, trump would just claim the demonstration was to celebrate him.
If I am trying to change people’s minds… yeah. I can’t say, some guy on reddit said it was true.
Thier definition of paycheck to paycheck was pretty weak and an easy target to poke holes in. But the data in general looks pretty helpful. And the source is a well known name. So thanks. The other guy who spewed a lot of math probably doesn’t debate with conservatives very often.
No argument on the second part. But not sure about the first. The laws “implying” something often isn’t enough to charge.
Where did you see that info? The article is horrible, but I am pretty sure it never said that.
Question, I hear things like that on lemmy often. Is there some data source that I can point to if I want to repeat it. I work in tech and honestly don’t go out much. I also have kids and live in an old neighborhood that is right next to new expensive ones. So I don’t really know anyone personally that is living paycheck to paycheck. And no one would believe me if I talked about it without data and a source.
Let’s be honest. There is litterally no situation where you should ever believe a thing trump says.
I know what you say sounds reasonable at first. But parents and kids already make a huge amount of life long decisions already. You hit the nail on the head with religion. Circumcism is a life long unreversable (as far as I know) decision that is made without yhe childs consent and mainly for preconcieved religious reasons. So why is trans medical care any different. Simply because it is the minority.
And of course, when kids who really want that treatment don’t get it. Some resort to suicide. That is life long and unreversable as well. All of the trans kids I know have parents who are trying to adjust to it. Not parents who pushed them into it. It’s a lot of work, doctor’s appointments, paperwork, and fear. I would speculate that the number of kids convinced by their parents to be trans is infantessimally small. And they almost definitely don’t live in red states. So laws like this protect almost no kids in their state while causing harm to significantly more kids who actually do live in their state.
