I wouldn’t call that hell either tbh but if your winter is 15C there isn’t much excuse to wait for summer.

That depends on your body though. I never get sunburns and while 30C is warm but comfortable, anything under 5C is actually painful. So I don’t get winter fans either.
Imo it doesn’t make much sense to advertise an OS while it’s still required to install it manually. Last time I was looking for a laptop I couldn’t find a store selling anything with Linux or even without Windows pre-installed. How many people will be convinced by an ad to look up instructions online and actually go through the process?
You can’t always put on more clothes. If your hands or face are cold you can’t exactly walk around with a ski mask and bulky gloves on.
Will check that, thanks
Probably when not paying attention. But also, sometimes I chew soup if there’s rice or other small things in it :p
I prefer warmer weather like 25-30C but that causes most places to turn up air conditioning. 20-25C is the best so you don’t have to carry around extra clothes.
I haven’t had to take one in a while but I’ll probably try this or simply try without water next time.
Swallow pills. It takes 3-4 tries every time for the smaller ones.
Something that comes up a lot but probably can’t be made open source is a wallet app. But if we ignore the payments part, Google wallet has some really nice features when dealing with plane tickets which I’d love to see in a standalone open source app.
I feel this is mostly the case with short stories (and a lot of those works were short stories). Where there isn’t enough material for a full movie, the writers are free to add more to the story without messing much with the original. DADOES did have enough material but the movie decided to go a different direction while keeping the main theme. I wouldn’t say one is better than the other in this case as they’re pretty different.
At periods when playing a lot of geoguessr I often catch myself looking at license plates and street signs when walking on the street, as if trying to figure out where I am.
Also years after I stopped playing assassin’s creed, I still get a mental image of a red outline when I walk too close to a cop.
Probably not very popular, I miss the culture of r/morbidquestions that was the place to go for most weird topics without much judgment.
“C is accessible” is not something I expected to read today
Interesting, based on similar threads I was under the impression most banks didn’t support NFC payments without Google Pay. Sadly no banks here have their own NFC payments. My bank used to have it but then removed it for some reason.
Yeah it’s a bank, and most banks do not support NFC payments in their apps, you need Google Pay or Apple Pay. Revolut is not listed in the available payment apps.
The closest thing I’ve found regarding this is this community request which still hasn’t been resolved https://community.revolut.com/t/support-nfc-functionality-directly-in-the-revolut-app-for-android-without-google-pay/191216
Do you have any sources for attaching a revolut card to the phone’s NFC? Is that a service they provide in their app or do you mean copying the card chip manually?
The original image said windows where this would be accurate but I doubt it applies to the average linux user
Yeah that’s what I usually do
I do have a license but refuse to drive. I guess the main reasons would be:
You also can’t drive drunk and I kinda like drinking.
