Yea, me watching it so many ywars after it came out definitely colored my opinion. Its like that with many “first” movies, from Tron to Metropolis, that the original appeal decreases as the motives and filmmaking techniques arent as new anymore, because of those movies. One would have to watch “generic” movies from that year to really apprechiate the innovative parts which then got replicated over and over.
I mean, I get both. Sometimes it felt more like a documentary whith grand and cinematic images of the city and few spoken words, I can apprechiate that, altho its not what I am looking for in a movie.
I suspected that he is supposed to not really show emotions, to show how he is trained/at the “baseline” and how he is not quite human. But I couldn’t see a gradual/fine development nor “hidden” or suppressed emotions behind his cold pokerface. (Apart from the one moment at the memory girl’s)
Just watched both bladerunner movies (idk which versions of them) and was rather underwhelmed. The cinematic grand setpieces i can apprechiate and see how they can be captivating for some but the story (or bith of them rather) wasnt very good imo. The worldbuilding is ambitious but the logic behind everything is lacking. Its just not “realistic” enough for me. I get thats sci-fi but for me it feels more like a fantasy movie like idk avatar or harry potter, rather than sci-fi which is supposed to play in our world/universe but with advanced tech. Things like not being able to distinguish replicants (first movie I just didnt buy. And then in the second one there is a gadget that can do just that.
And also Ryan Gosling played pretty badly (maybe it was the script), no emotions, (almost) no storytelling in his mimic, emotions, in his character at all. He is almost like a wax figure, during watching I multiple times had to pause and complain to my co-watcher about his performance, as it too was unrealistic and too stoic for my taste

I have Podcast Addict, I think its free but I paid a few dollars because of the great selection of settings and options I never knew I needed.
(For example I have it configured so that after 5pm the Sleeptimer automatically makes the podcast fade down and pausing after 10’ of listening, unless I move/shake the phone during the fade down-part, then it extends for another 10’. Perfect for using it in public transport or in bed and dozing off.)

Don't answer the comments you find frustrating, as this will not lead to a fruitful discussion. In a hobby such as this there will be a lot of passionate people, some of them have invested countless hours into their own optimal layout. So the answers will be personal opinions. And if ones opinion is "I recommend against this layout, its better to change your typing habits" then this "judging" is more like a opinionated recommendation.
I dont know if this is a cultural thing, but this behaviour, up/down-ratio, even the type of comments are pretty normal (and for me expected) for a niche community like custom/ergo-mech KBs. You trying to school everyone makes you look like a dick, thats what the one commenter meant by getting banned because being rude.
Tldr: Be open to other opinions, pick the persons you want to talk to, don't try to school a whole community as it appears arrogant and ignorant.
I mean you have a 81:9 up/down ratio on your original post at the moment and almost only good comments. Don't get pulled down by the negative ones, as there will always be negative people posting bad and mean stuff.
Edit: What also doesnt help is that almost half of your comments on other peoples answers is you judging the community and their answers. Its like you still see yourself as an outsider, rating the friendlyness of the people.

One does not simply "block fingerprinting". Fingerprinting is incredibly complicated and very hard to avoid. You need VPN, Browser with no extentions and fixed windowsize (tor or mullvad), frequent cookie deletion, even the installed fonts/language packs can give them identifiers…
