Why one at a time? Just load a folder and apply the same settings to all of them. If the settings are different per file… not sure which method would be less annoying.

Then why can we apply video filters etc. if it is only for transcoding? That is a really basic thing. Like no audio or pass through. You can also add subtitles. Why not audio?

100 hours to do something 500’000 times means you have 0.7 seconds each time on average.

Define ultra low power. Given the 10 TB + mirror (why?) I assume at least 2 HDDs have to spin. So at least 20 W total? I mean they can spin down, but leaving the system on 24/7 seems a bit far fetched, even if it only consumes 1 watt (0.1 A load, 2.4 Ah per day).

Breathing air that is so wet it even condenses inside my nose (dew point above 37 °C) feels good. I have not heard people complain about too humid air (for breathing, not buildings etc.) so far. Only the other way around: Breathing air that has a dew point below something like -10 °C can be a really unpleasant if the air itself is warm.

What is this garbage? If I own a house/gold/collectable/toilet paper during covid/… and the value goes up, am I supposed to pay taxes? Do I get money back if the value goes down again? That is no income. It really is that simple. Yes, we still need to find a way do deal with this.
