Cool. Yea I saw all of the hardware they’re pushing and that’s what made me wonder what’s going on there. I use professional grade software for work but I’d like to have more professional features for home too without the high cost of entry.

13 years ago I bought my childhood home from my parents. They basically gifted me the down payment and my dad helped me update it. I was exceptionally lucky them and I’d have no chance in hell buying a house now.
Just looked at Resolve and I definitely want to try this out. It almost sounds too good to be true. Anyone here tried it?
Ooo I just started my Linux journey and I’m definitely checking out that YouTube channel.
Oh boy have I got an ice cream for you. wicked kitchen
I thought the Army Corps of Engineers helped out with stuff like this.whatever this was it is far too big to be moved safely by regular folks.
20 plus years ago when I first started working in healthcare anal pap smears weren’t covered by insurance because paps were considered a “woman’s test” and good luck finding a provider that would do them or a lab that would process them. Now it is considered routine testing covered by insurance and more doctors are learning to include this type of care while in med school. It breaks my heart to think about how many people don’t get the care they need because of social prejudices and the slow crawl of progress.
That’s totally a fair point and I would love to think that all medics are awesome like you. What I don’t like is having the cops even remotely involved in the decision and not being held just as accountable as the medics. Ultimately it’s the medic’s butt and licence on the line while the cops just laugh at getting away with murder.
There’s a good reason anesthesiologists get paid as much as they do. There is no way paramedics get enough training to be granted the ability to use sedation like this. And any tool given to police becomes a weapon. This whole policy is a recipe for disaster.
I really don’t understand why streaming business are so surprised. They are providing television for rent and users are renting it plain and simple. They seem to think they are entitled to lengthy subscriptions from users when in reality they aren’t providing a service that’s even stable or worth it.
Okay I don’t really like Cradle of Filth but my husband does. But I really really like their cover of Iron Maiden’s “Hallowed Be Thy Name.” Somehow the cover has more energy than the original.
I believe the only time it is designed like that is for autologous donations. That is where you donate specifically for yourself ahead of time for a procedure. This is really helpful for people with special blood needs or religious exemptions but it’s not really done too often. The only other case I can think of off the top of my head is that new moms can have cord blood banked for personal future use or donate it to stem cell research.
Do you get lab tests done or annual vaccinations? Because many components used in these products are also provided from processing blood donations. Blood donations are never wasted as everything gets used for something in healthcare. Check out the AABB site for more information. Blood donations are a true gift.
This is the best news I’ve had all week!
Technically this is a grey area and they are blatantly misusing the exception for court order/warrant rule. HIPAA just states that records must be turned over but doesn’t get into details concerning how much or how little should be provided. I really can’t believe the judge allowed this but I suspect (hopeful anyway)that this will get kicked up to a federal court since federal law supercedes state laws.
Yea I don’t think we’re getting the whole story here. I’m very certain that the hospital knew that records were being manipulated. The sheer number of people who have to look at and interact with a patient’s chart guarantees that others knew of the manipulation occuring. The whole “restructuring” comment is not a good look either. I hope the whole system is sued into oblivion.
I mean the most obvious malicious compliance here would be to make a bus line that runs to the tiny little parking lot at the entrance. Nothing the wealthy hate more than public transportation in their backyard.
I feel like that statement is the crux of all human existence right now.
The eGFR is just an estimated calculation not a real lab test. At best it is a nice screening tool. Any physician basing care solely off of this value is being negligent. I am sure there are many reasons behind such negligence including institutional racism baked into the American healthcare system. It makes me extremely happy to know that governing bodies are finally making changes for this particular bit of lab testing.
Yea this pic was giving me real “Sonny” vibes.
