Papers have been filed in an attempt to remove Arizona’s "Right to Work" law from the state constitution.Right to Work laws let states determine if workers can be required to join a union to get or keep a job.Robert Nichols with the group Arizona Works Together claims the provision weakens unions.
Oftentimes being in a specialized field is a double edged sword for your own wage too. Sure, there's not many of you for them to hire, but also there's not many of them for you to go to and if you piss any of them off, you're screwed out of any future job.
Making a union even more important I think.
