I tell other people what to do.” Everything else follows from that. Well that and the "in groups for laws to protect but not bind, outgroups for laws to bind but not protect " thing.

One of the core principles of Republican thought is “no one tells me what to do. I tell other people what to do.” Everything else follows from that.
