Of course it was. The IDF doesn’t want those people there. They are trying to systematically wipe these people out or make living conditions so hostile that they leave.

Israeli settlers just go in and take the things they want. “Settling” is such a weird word when they can just go in and take your whole house.

I believe there’s a term that came out in the 1930s that describes the concept of removing population to make room for your ethno-state. Lebensraum.

What a perfect word for what the Israeli government is doing. I’m sure they would love for people to start referring to Israelis expansion as a Nazi style lebensraum.

    Hamas-run health ministry

The war in Gaza began when Hamas gunmen attacked southern Israel on 7 October, killing about 1,200 people and taking 253 others as hostages.

This is in every single BBC article about Palestine.

It’s important background info for people who somehow managed to miss any other news about it.

Lmao. It’s propaganda. It’s used to frame the situation in a way that excuses Israel’s genocide.

Biden put the red line in front of Rafah and they crossed it? It will be interesting to see what happens from here. I’m hoping Biden holds his word on the repercussions for these actions.
