Just finished it – it was the first book of hers that I read – and I genuinely liked it. I think it becomes more and more relevant with all the latest innovations in AI, LLMs, companion AIs, etc. It was a great science-fiction book and I particularly liked how it touched on the relationship between bots and humans, between bots’ programming and their physical bodies, and how bots deal with organic issues such as human neurotransmitters and hormones.
I saw older posts about the book but was wondering how other folks were thinking about this book these days.
