The fight over abortion in Ohio will test whether vulnerable Democrats can turn public support for abortion rights into campaign victories — even if the elections are a year apart.

Women like me in places like Texas are looking to places like Kansas and hopefully Ohio as hope and inspiration. Good luck!
Do you notice anyone leaving because of the laws Texas has? I can't imagine anyone with daughters staying unless they're crazy too.
Lots of them definitely are. I'm noticed a lot more Texan transplants up in WA over the last few years than in the last 3 decades I've lived here.
We've seen a lot of Florida lately too, have you had that experience?
Yes. One of my closest friends - an engineer with a Masters degree - had a very nice job offer but she turned it down because of the basic lack of women’s reproductive health services.
She’s smart and capable and has the degrees - one from the Air Force Academy - to say fuck no. I respect her a lot, and I’m ashamed to still be here tbh
It's hard to change locations, that's what they're betting on. Please vote if you stay to keep it as far blue as you can.
If the number of Texans showing up in Seattle is why indication it certainly does seem to be a factor.
As an ohio woman, I hope we do you proud. We want a liberal state. But we can define every district as either pack or crack so we’re stuck with constitutional amendments
